Your new role
As a Reception SEN TA, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of needs including autism, speech and language delays, and sensory processing challenges.
- Assist in creating a structured and engaging learning environment tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.
- Use play-based and sensory strategies to support development in communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with EYFS children with SEN, ideally in a school or nursery setting.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and inclusive practices.
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
