Real Estate Account Handler, Salary up to £45,000, for Lloyd’s Broker – based in Finchley

Your new job as a Real Estate Account Handler will be working for a privately-owned Global Lloyd’s Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide, with their head office based in the City. They have a dedicated team of over 10,000+ employees in over 100 countries who prides themselves on having an entrepreneurial cultural that their clients benefit from. Their specialist and dedicated Global Real Estate & Construction Division comprises of more than 200 Associates - making their integrated team the largest and most established combined Real Estate and Construction team in the London Market. Due to continued successful growth within the Real Estate division an opportunity for an Account Handler to join their team in the Finchley office has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job working as a Real Estate Account Handler means you will be responsible for providing the day-to-day service delivery to a mixed portfolio of UK and European property owners and real estate clients. You will act as a client advocate within the Property team working with an allocation of clients from varying sizes from commercial to large corporate Property accounts. Duties will include obtaining quotations for new and renewals business, research, prepare and present renewal reports to Account Executives, prepare market presentations and check policy documentation. You will also effectively manage the credit control processes including tracking premium payments and chase uncollected premiums. Further duties will also include responding promptly to account queries, identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Account Executive and provide management information as requested.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as an Account Handler ideally handling Property Owners or Real Estate, or handling Commercial Combined business will lead to your success in securing this role. You will have strong technical knowledge of property risks as well as associated casualty lines of business. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to attend external client meetings when required. They are looking for someone that has the energy and appetite to learn and who can develop and progress within the business.
