Religious Education Teacher – Preston, Lancashire

Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: MPS/UPS – £30,000 to £46,525 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: January 2026 (or sooner)

Your role:
  • Deliver engaging RE lessons across KS3 and KS4, exploring world religions, ethics, and philosophy
  • Encourage respectful debate and reflective thinking in a safe, inclusive classroom environment
  • Support students in developing their understanding of global cultures and moral frameworks
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
  • Uphold high standards of teaching, learning, and safeguarding

What we’re looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education and related disciplines
  • Ability to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to promoting tolerance, empathy, and academic excellence
