You will be joining a well established, international main contractor with a strong presence across the North West. Known for delivering high quality flagship schemes, they have an excellent pipeline of work and a reputation for developing and progressing their people. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support a major new build hotel project based in Manchester.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support a major new build hotel project based in Manchester.
Your new role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a key project within the business, working closely with the commercial lead and wider delivery team.

- Managing subcontract procurement and package management
- Valuations, variations, and monthly reporting
- Cost control, forecasting, and budget management
- Working collaboratively with site and design teams to ensure commercial targets are achieved
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company processes
- This is an office based role in Manchester with a regular site presence on a high profile project.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of standard forms of contract
- Experience on new build projects (hotel, commercial, residential or similar)
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team
- A proactive, organised, and solutions‑focused approach
