Your new role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial aspects of a varied range of subcontract packages across M&E, energy and solar projects. Working closely with an excellent and highly supportive Commercial Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your experience and take ownership of your workload.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the commercial aspects of a varied range of subcontract packages across M&E, energy and solar projects. Working closely with an excellent and highly supportive Commercial Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your experience and take ownership of your workload.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the financial performance of M&E subcontract works
- Preparing applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
- Ensuring compliance with main contractor contract terms
- Supporting procurement and subcontract management
- Working closely with project and site teams to deliver commercially successful outcomes
- Assisting with forecasting, cost reporting and cashflow management
What you’ll need to succeed
- Experience as a QS within an M&E or construction subcontracting environment
- Strong understanding of commercial processes and contract administration
- Ability to build effective working relationships with main contractors
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
