Your new company

You will be working for the Children With Disabilities Team to coordinate and provide a service to children who are subject to child in need plans, child protection plans, pre-proceedings or court proceedings. Most of the children you will work with will have additional needs.

Your new role

Your new role will require you to make timely and appropriate responses to and manage assigned work in accordance with Directorate policies and procedures, budgets and relevant legislation. You will be undertaking assessments in line with the “Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families”. You will also be establishing and implementing action plans based on the assessed needs of the children, young people and their families, in conjunction with their family and other agencies, in line with restorative practice values.

What you'll need to succeed

A successful candidate will be a senior social worker with experience in the above responsibilities and experience within Childrens social work. To be able to carry out regular reviews of individual plans, record outcomes and formulate plans based on those reviews. To be able to provide detailed reports for statutory reviews, child protection conferences, panels and courts as required.

You will work in an established team with an experienced permanent manager who will provide support and supervision. This is a really rewarding role based near Marston Green. You will be expected to be in the office for up to 3 days per week and supported to work from home.
