- Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
- Organise and maintain classroom resources, displays, and learning materials.
- Implement behaviour management strategies that promote positive behaviour and address any challenges.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and projects.
- Regularly assess children’s progress and maintain accurate records.
- Use formative and summative assessments to inform teaching and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings, open days, and workshops.
- Share information about children’s development and progress.
- Be vigilant about child protection and follow school policies.
- Report any concerns promptly to the designated safeguarding lead.
- Promote health and well-being within the classroom.
- Attend relevant training sessions and stay informed about educational trends.
- Reflect on practice and seek opportunities for growth.
- Contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in EYFS (NQTs/ECTS welcome to apply).
