Our client is a well-established accounting firm based in Cookstown, renowned for providing exceptional financial services to a diverse range of clients. With a commitment to excellence and a client-focused approach, they are a professional yet friendly working team seeking to expand with a Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant.

Office based Monday-Thursday 8.30 - 5pm and Friday 8:30- 2pm (with flexibility).

Your new role

As a Qualified Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive accounting and tax services. Your duties will include preparing financial statements, managing audits, and offering strategic financial advice. You will also be expected to mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

What you'll need to succeed

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a similar role within an accounting practice
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of current accounting standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
