QA Officer | Pharma Manufacturer | GMP, QMS, Audits | On-Site near Manchester

You’ll be joining a pharmaceutical manufacturer based near Manchester, known for producing unlicensed medicines and NHS-approved disinfectants. The business operates under GMP, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards and is committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. It’s a growing organisation with a collaborative culture and a strong focus on regulatory excellence.

Your new role

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving the company’s quality systems. You’ll be responsible for:
  • Supporting the execution of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Managing CAPAs, deviations, complaints, recalls, and OOS/OOT investigations
  • Participating in internal audits and supporting external and regulatory inspections
  • Reviewing and generating SOPs and quality documentation
  • Tracking KPIs and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday) with a 40-hour work week.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A scientific degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid understanding of GMP and quality systems
  • Strong attention to detail and document control skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly
  • Experience with audits, investigations, and continuous improvement
