Python Developer, Financial Services, Fast API, Sheffield

I am currently working with a global consultancy who are actively seeking a Python Developer to join a long-term project for a client in the financial services space.


What you'll need to succeed :

  • Strong Python Development experience, ideally within financial services or a highly regulated environment.
  • Good experience with FastAPI.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
  • Strong experience building and integrating APIs for database management and automated workflows.
  • Good Docker and Kubernetes experience.
  • MUST BE able to commute into the Sheffield office 2-3 times per week.


What you'll get in return :

  • In-scope day-rate dependent on relevant experience.
  • Sheffield-based hybrid working.
  • Initial 9-month contract with extensions.
