Purchasing Administrator
Your new company
Hays are working with a business based in Telford who are urgently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with solid administrative experience and familiarity with Sage systems, ready to jump in and support a fast-paced purchasing department.
Your new role
- Raise and process purchase orders using Sage 200.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier information and order history.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Track deliveries and update internal systems accordingly.
- Assist with invoice matching and resolving discrepancies.
- Provide general administrative support to the purchasing team.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a purchasing or administrative role.
- Proficiency in Sage (preferably Sage 50 or Sage 200).
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadline.
