Your new company

My client is one of our region's largest logistics companies, with operations throughout the UK and Europe. Due to a sustained period of growth, they are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their dynamic finance team.


Your new role

  • Accurately process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
