Purchase Ledger Assistant- 1-month assignment 📍 Fully office-based | Join a small, supportive team

Your new company

Our client is on the lookout for a proactive, detail-driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a 1-month contract with potential for extension. The role is a 40-hour working week, with standard hours being 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. This role is predominately office-based. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, growth-focused business that operates globally across financial markets.

Your new role

As Purchase Ledger Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth running of financial operations. This hands-on position involves purchase ledger management and reconciliations. Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Invoice Processing
  • Payment Management
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Process Expenses

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant qualification or proven experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and detail-focused approach
  • Proficiency in Sage and/or Sage 200, and the Microsoft Office suite—especially Excel
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and supplier management software
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
