Purchase Ledger job in Radstock

Your new company

A well established and rapidly growing organisation in Radstock are seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk. In this role, you will play a key part within the finance team, delivering a professional, efficient service while ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all purchase ledger activity.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Processing of purchase invoices

  • Processing purchase orders
  • Statement / Direct Debit reconciliation
  • Maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time
  • Ensure payments adhere to HMRC requirements
  • Resolving supplier queries

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a busy office environment with a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong IT and numeracy skills, with confidence using financial systems and spreadsheets.
  • Effective organisational and time-management skills; able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, professional approach.
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Demonstrates integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality
