Purchase Ledger job in Radstock

A well established and rapidly growing organisation in Radstock are seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk. In this role, you will play a key part within the finance team, delivering a professional, efficient service while ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all purchase ledger activity.
Responsibilities will include:Processing of purchase invoices
- Processing purchase orders
- Statement / Direct Debit reconciliation
- Maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time
- Ensure payments adhere to HMRC requirements
- Resolving supplier queries
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in a busy office environment with a strong customer service focus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong IT and numeracy skills, with confidence using financial systems and spreadsheets.
- Effective organisational and time-management skills; able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with a positive, professional approach.
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Demonstrates integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality
