Urgent Purchase Ledger temporary position in Dartford

Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant
Client: Property
Location: Dartford
Contract: Temporary until end of July (potential to extend)
Salary: £17 - £19 per hour


Your new role

  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Inputting invoice data onto the COINS system
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices to the correct cost centres
  • Managing a busy accounts inbox, responding to supplier queries and internal requests
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Assisting with payment runs as required
  • Liaising with site teams and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date purchase ledger records
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a purchase ledger / accounts payable role
  • Comfortable processing high volumes of invoices
  • Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy inbox effectively
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • Immediately available to start work
