Property officer required to support leading housing association in Livingston - 6 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an established Property Officer to join a leading housing association in Livingston.

This is a long term freelance project expected to last a minimum of 6 months, however may run into a longer assignment.
This role will have you looking after the local estate, covering a variety of housing types. This might vary from standard social housing, to vulnerable people and sheltered accommodation. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the estate, ensuring all compliance and H&S are up to standard while upkeeping the image and professionalism of the origination. You will be the face of the association, therefore a friendly and caring nature is essential.

Candidates will be expected to have a firm knowledge of general property maintenance and facilities.

As this is a blended office and site role, strong IT and processing skills are required. Candidates without this will not be able to handle the challenges of this role.

The ideal candidate will come from an Estates, Facilities/maintenance or Property background. Candidates with public sector experience is preferred however this is not essential.

This role is offering a strong hourly rate and includes flexi working. However this is a mostly site and office based role.
