Project Support Officer Contract – Paying up to £200 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in South Wales, To Start ASAP, Contract until end of March 2026

Your new role

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Project Support Officer to join a Directorate, contributing to vital work that shapes how care is designed and delivered across Wales.

In this role, you will provide essential coordination, administrative support and analytical input across a portfolio of projects aimed at strengthening maternity services. Working closely with project leads, clinical teams and national stakeholders, you will help drive improvements that have a meaningful and lasting impact on patient experience and service quality.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Experience supporting projects or programmes in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment (healthcare experience desirable)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good understanding of project management principles or methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile)

  • Ability to manage information, maintain documentation and ensure accurate record keeping

  • Competence using digital tools and information systems
