Are you an experienced Project Manager with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and managing end-to-end project lifecycles?
We are seeking a dynamic, delivery-focused Project Manager to join our team in Newry on a full-time, temporary basis. Working closely with the Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing key projects, managing critical stakeholder relationships, and ensuring robust governance.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead the delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of diverse initiatives against core objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing advisory support and project updates.
Financial Oversight: Prepare precise budget estimates, monitor expenditure, and maintain high-level financial accountability.
Governance & Process: Develop and maintain robust project management processes, business cases, and compliance workflows.
Contract Management: Oversee external specialists, suppliers, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality delivery.
Communications: Prepare and deliver clear corporate communications to senior leadership, committees, and wider stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Manage and supervise staff, coordinate task allocations, and deputise for management when required.

Essential Criteria:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing the full project lifecycle (design, delivery, evaluation, and budget control).
Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently and make strategic decisions that directly impact project success.
Governance: Hands-on experience designing and maintaining tight project controls and accountability frameworks.
Financial Skills: Demonstrated experience building and managing accurate project budgets.
Tech Savvy: High level of IT competency, including practical experience with CRM and database management systems.
Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence diverse audiences.
Qualifications: A third-level or equivalent professional qualification AND/OR a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project delivery within a professional business environment.

Desirable Criteria:
1 year of project management experience within a corporate agency, research environment, or structured business support organisation.
