Project Manager - IT

Overview: Support the development and delivery of technology-driven projects, performance management processes, and business intelligence solutions to drive service improvement.

Location: Ipswich (2 days onsite per week)
Day Rate: Negotiable
Length: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and review performance management processes and data to identify and recommend improvements in services.
  • Provide project management and risk management support for technology and process change initiatives.
  • Analyse and report on business intelligence data using IT and web-based applications.
  • Act as a key contact for external software suppliers, supporting system upgrades, user queries, and ongoing development.
  • Develop and deliver training on new IT processes and systems to ensure effective adoption.
  • Research and benchmark best practices in digital transformation and process improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management and delivering successful change.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT and web-based applications, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with business process mapping, system integration (APIs, web services), and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience in public sector environments.
  • Familiarity with business process reengineering (e.g., LEAN), project management software, and CRM integration.
