Project Manager HCR, 11-month contract, up to £535 p/d, Belfast (on-site 3 days p/w)
We are currently working with a global financial services organisation on the recruitment of a project manager on an 11-month contract with the possibility of extension. You will join a newly formed team to implement policies and procedures that go along with the management of human capital risk.
As a risk and control lead, you will be required to design, develop and implement Human Capital Risk (HCR) requirements for the organisation. This role will work on a range of activities to implement standards and consistent practices for HCR risk and control management in compliance with firm-wide requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute Inherent Risk assessments tailored to the HCR risks and Markets businesses
- Understand Manager Control Assessments (MCA) data, identify deficiencies and work across business and markets stakeholders to remediate
- Define and drive the implementation of standardized HCR controls and monitoring
- Work with markets stakeholders to understand risks and required controls across businesses
- Standardize HCR Reporting. Identify different data sources and assess methodologies to make recommendations for markets
Essential Criteria
- At least 5 years operating as a PM/BA in an enterprise environment
- Understanding of operational risk management frameworks
- An in-depth knowledge of threats, risks and controls (preferably specific to financial)
- A proven ability to apply business understanding to developing robust risk and control policies and procedures
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and synthesize complex information and data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities to optimise and streamline processes, propose solutions and lead implementation of improvements
This role will be 3 days working from the office in Belfast. Only candidates with the ability to fulfil this will be considered. Although the role is initially for an 11-month period, there is a high possibility of permanency or extension.
