This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of finance within a growing organisation, delivering lasting change through process improvement, automation, digital innovation and the implementation of a new ERP/finance system.
The Role
Reporting to the Group Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a finance transformation programme, leading the procurement, implementation and adoption of a new ERP platform while redesigning finance processes to create a more efficient, insight-driven and sustainable operating model.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology, HR, Procurement and Transformation, ensuring successful programme delivery and organisational adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance transformation programme from planning through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Define and deliver a future-state finance operating model.
- Manage the procurement and implementation of a new ERP/finance system.
- Drive process simplification, automation and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI.
- Lead programme governance, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
- Deliver change management, communications and training activities to ensure successful adoption.
- Embed continuous improvement and best practice across finance operations.
About You
We're looking for a proven transformation leader who can combine project delivery expertise with strong finance process knowledge and change leadership skills.
You will have:
- Degree-level qualification or significant equivalent experience in finance transformation.
- Proven success delivering large-scale business transformation programmes.
- Experience procuring and implementing ERP or finance systems.
- Strong understanding of finance processes including P2P, O2C, R2R, budgeting, reporting and controls.
- Experience managing external suppliers and implementation partners.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of automation, workflow technologies and AI applications within finance.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities within challenging deadlines.
