Migration project manager, Belfast, 10-month contract, up to £530 p/d

We are delighted to be working with a global financial client in the recruitment of a project manager to work on a migration project from a legacy system to a new application, this role sits within a team that partners across markets businesses and core functions to drive regulatory, strategic, and cross‑business transformation initiatives.
This role leads end‑to‑end delivery across multiple workstreams, from gathering business requirements and shaping project plans to managing timelines and day‑to‑day execution. The role also requires early identification and escalation of risks, driving resolutions, and creating key project documentation including BRDs, FRDs, UAT materials, and detailed delivery plans.


To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills/experience:
  • At least 5 years operating in a project management role in an enterprise environment
  • A strong & proven track record in technical project management and delivering complex migrations are essential
  • Experience in Market Risk or Capital Markets Transformation
  • Significant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively produce reports, documentation, and communicate with senior management. Ability to seamlessly communicate complex technical issues to non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to drive change in business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understanding different perspectives
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

This role will be 3 days working on-site in Belfast. Only candidates with the ability to fulfil this will be considered.
