Position: Project Manager
Location: Ware
Role: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager (mechanical bias) with experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing settings to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects within our facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that all projects meet regulatory standards, are completed on time and within budget, and support the operational needs of pharmaceutical manufacturing and research.

What are the main responsibilities?
You will manage end-to-end construction and facilities projects, being responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects.

You will also:
- Ensure compliance with GMP and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Operations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate commissioning and qualification activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure projects are effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of groups.
- Responsible for owning the permit process for projects, working with the technical supervisors where required to ensure they are in place and correctly closed.

What are we looking for?
- You will have experience as a Project Manager within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing field leading in managing construction projects, including working on HVAC, process utilities, and automation systems.
- You will be proficient in project management tools and excellent computer skills, as well as have excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A highly focused individual, motivating and driving performance through high standards of service and effectiveness.
- Pro-active, good at planning ahead as far as possible as the project progresses, checking back to plans/programmes regularly.
- Strong sense of achievement; able to drive projects forward, expecting good standards of work and able to overcome barriers/ solve problems.
