Leading financial services firm seeking a Project Manager for operational resilience TOM programme.

Your new company

Hays are working with a leading financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Project Manager to an initial contract until the end of the year. Working on a TOM implementation across their risk and resilience function, if you're an experienced delivery professional with a strong background in operational resilience, target operating models and third-party risk management/assurance, then we want to hear from you.


Length: Until 15/12/26 + potential to extend
Location: London
Hybrid: Yes, 3 days in-office
Rate: Up to £700/day via Umbrella


Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

  • You will bring experience leading complex, high‑risk programmes spanning multiple workstreams, driving delivery across senior internal and external stakeholders (up to C-Suite) while maintaining strong governance, financial oversight and risk management.

  • You will have led Operational Resilience initiatives, delivering business service mapping, scenario testing, vulnerability remediation and alignment with regulatory impact tolerance requirements.

  • You bring experience in defining and implementing Target Operating Models across people, process, governance and technology, ensuring third‑party dependencies are integrated into resilience and service continuity frameworks.

  • Experience in Third‑Party Risk & Assurance (TPRAS) frameworks (including due diligence, monitoring, control testing, tooling oversight, remediation and exit processes) will be highly regarded.

  • You will embed sustainable BAU ownership, producing high‑quality documentation and steering materials, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery against project objectives, risks and milestones.
