We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to take charge of a landmark station development programme. Your new role – Key Responsibilities
• Lead delivery of a large station redevelopment across five major phases.
• Oversee new roads, car parks, and access routes to ensure smooth passenger flow in and out of the station.
• Manage governance and reporting structures, ensuring transparency and accountability at every stage.
• Coordinate with Network Rail and other key stakeholders to align objectives and resolve challenges.
• Handle funding agreements and car park station contracts with precision and compliance.
• Report to senior stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
• Direct multiple work packages, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Champion the project’s role as a regeneration-linked scheme, opening up opportunities for wider economic growth, urban renewal, and community benefit.
What you'll need to succeed
• Client-side experience, ideally acting for a local authority or similar organisation.
• Background in rail or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
• Strong governance and funding expertise.
• Track record of delivering multiphase projects with budgets in excess of £20m.
