Opportunity to join a Manchester practice


Overview: I'm looking for a versatile and imaginative mid-weight Interior Designer to join a collaborative, design-led studio delivering high-quality hospitality and student accommodation schemes. You’ll be a creative thinker with strong technical skills and the drive to take on more project responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on interior projects across RIBA stages, contributing to concept through delivery
  • Create impactful presentation decks, FF&E packages, and detailed drawing sets
  • Collaborate with architects and consultants to ensure design integrity
  • Conduct site visits and coordinate installation processes
  • Research materials and trends to align with evolving client briefs
  • Contribute to design reviews and project milestones
You’ll Need:
  • 3–5 years of interior design experience, ideally in hospitality or student living
  • A strong eye for concept development and visual storytelling
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (Revit a bonus)
  • Familiarity with RIBA stages and project delivery workflows
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • A strategic, organised mindset and a passion for great design
    • Drive the design narrative across all stages, from concept to completion
    • Lead client presentations and stakeholder coordination
    • Manage FF&E specifications, tender packages, and delivery documentation
    • Attend site meetings and oversee installations
    • Mentor junior staff and contribute to studio design culture
    • Ensure programme and budget alignment
