Hays supply Project Escorts for new building and remedial works taking place within Prisons in London.

• Escort and supervise contractors and builders working within the prison grounds.
• Ensure all personnel adhere to prison security procedures and are accounted for at all times.
• Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Conduct security checks on tools, equipment, and materials entering and exiting the site.
• Liaise with prison staff, facilities teams, and contractors to coordinate access and work schedules.
• Report any breaches of security or safety protocols immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of contractor movements and work progress.
• Support emergency procedures and evacuations if required

• Experience in security or a customer-based role
• Foresight and experience to think about future risks
• Dependable, committed and punctual. This role supervises pre-booked contractors, so being timely is key to allowing for smooth work to take place.
• Diligent - Project Escorts must be very security-aware
