Project Coordinator

A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for Project Coordinators to support the day-to-day operation of a large, complex, global change programme.

Based in Hatfield (Hybrid – 2/3 days per week)

Working directly into the Programme Director / Senior Project Manager, the role will provide essential administrative, coordination, and organisational support to ensure the programme runs efficiently and that actions, dependencies, and communications are clearly tracked and executed.

Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Programme Team
Maintain and update programme documentation, including plans, logs, trackers, and reports
Produce and manage Excel spreadsheets (e.g. action logs, RAID logs, schedules, financial trackers)
Prepare and format Word documents, presentations, and meeting packs
Schedule and coordinate meetings, workshops, and governance forums
Capture actions, decisions, and risks from meetings and ensure follow-up
Translate direction and high-level requests into clear actions and task lists
Track progress against actions and proactively chase updates
Act as a point of contact between programme team members, vendors, and stakeholders
Support consistent ways of working across a multinational programme team

Skills & Experience required
Three years plus previous experience in working in a similar environment supporting project or programme teams (PMO or administrative roles preferred)
Supported project coordination for SAP and technology initiatives by tracking deliverables, system updates, and cross-team communication.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (experience with trackers, logs, and structured documents essential)
Clear and confident interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to understand direction quickly and ask clarifying questions where needed
Skilled at turning verbal or written requests into clear, structured actions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex programme environment
