Job Overview: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting project managers and site supervisors in planning, organising, and managing construction projects. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects.
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and schedules.
- Track project progress and report any delays or issues to the project manager.
- Assist in preparing valuations, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate deliveries, inspections, and meetings.
- Support the project team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Additional office administration duties for the Office Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in construction or project coordination is preferred.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education & Experience:
1–3 years of experience in a similar role in the construction industry.
