Your new role

We are looking for a Project Controls Manager to lead the Project Controls function within a key Delivery Programme. This role is central to ensuring timely, accurate cost data and performance reporting, supporting strategic decision-making and driving delivery excellence.

You will be responsible for:
  • Leading a team of Project Controls professionals across the programme.
  • Collaborating with supply chain and finance teams to establish budgets and report financial performance.
  • Supporting the Programme Director with schedule updates, forecasts, variance analysis, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring consistent application of Project Controls processes across the programme.
  • Producing weekly/monthly reports aligned with PMO requirements.
  • Advising Project Managers and supply chain partners on controls policies, procedures, and standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing large programmes and strategic change.
  • Strong background in contractor and consultant management within regulated environments.
  • Expertise in governance, strategic planning, risk analysis, construction delivery, and commercial/legal issues.
  • Ability to drive performance improvement and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
