A growing organisation is looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator to join their team.

A forward‑thinking and expanding organisation on the outskirts of Darlington is seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Coordinator to support a wide range of business‑critical activities. This permanent position plays a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery, strong commercial oversight, and full compliance with internal policies and external standards.
Supporting both the Management Team and liaising with external governing bodies, your role will be one that allows you “organisation-wide” involvement.

What the role involves

  • Coordinating day‑to‑day project activities across the sites
  • Supporting business commercial functions
  • Maintaining and monitoring compliance processes
  • Acting as a central point of communication between teams, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Helping streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across the site
  • You will be key to improving IT skills & usage across the business in areas such as Project Management and Excel.

Who this role suits

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of their work. The successful candidate will be:

  • Forward‑thinking
  • Highly organised
  • Confident in using their initiative, making informed decisions without constant supervision
  • Detail‑focused, especially when handling compliance and commercial documentation
  • IT Literate, in particular, having used Project Management Software, Excel & Co-Pilot/AI

In short, you will be a “doer”! Someone who can both self-manage and take direction from the leadership team to ensure plans and ideas are fully implemented.

This is an exciting, newly created role that, for the right person, could lead to continued career development within the organisation.
