Your new company

Hays are pleased to be working with a large local Wolverhampton based business who are requiring some support with a 6-month fixed term contract project.

Your new role


As a Project Accountant, your duties will include:

  • Daily reconciliations for up to 200+ retail stores
  • Importing, balancing, and investigating large sets of data on a daily basis
  • Producing detailed in-depth reporting, which is then to be presented to management
  • Use your initiative to investigate anomalies and report to IT and area managers in order to correct ongoing issues and highlight any potential store issues.
  • Profit + Loss


What you'll need to succeed

You will have had experience in a similar role/project prior to this, being able to demonstrate dealing with large data sets, reconciliations, and variance analysis. This project would suit someone with a strong attention to detail, spotting anomalies amongst vast amounts of information. You will have good communication skills and be confident in reporting to management. Experience within a retail environment is desirable but not essential.
