In this company the employees don’t just work for the business—they own it. As an employee-led organisation, every decision they make is rooted in collective ambition, shared accountability, and a deep commitment to excellence. Their people aren’t just contributors—they’re stakeholders, innovators, and champions of change

Your new role

Are you a part-qualified accountant ready to step into a dynamic role where finance meets strategy? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with non-finance stakeholders to drive project success? If so, we want to hear from you.
As the new Project Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the financial management of large-scale, high-impact projects. You’ll be the bridge between finance and operations—translating numbers into insights and helping project teams stay on track, on budget, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with project managers and operational leads to provide financial guidance and support
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and actuals, ensuring accuracy and accountability
  • Prepare and present financial reports to non-finance stakeholders in a clear, actionable way
  • Identify risks and opportunities, offering proactive solutions to keep projects financially healthy
  • Support month-end and year-end processes related to project accounting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting tools

What you'll need to succeed

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage non-finance colleagues
  • Experience working on large or complex projects, ideally in a matrixed organisation
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)

What you'll get in return

  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team
  • Work on projects that shape the future of our business
  • Enjoy a supportive environment that champions your professional development
  • Flexible working options and a culture that values work-life balance
  • Study support
  • Hybrid working
