Are you an experienced electrical professional with a passion for estate development and maintenance? We’re looking for a Programmed Maintenance Officer (Electrical) to join a dynamic team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of electrical maintenance and construction projects across a diverse estate.

About the Role
As the electrical subject matter expert, you’ll lead on the design and project management of both planned and reactive maintenance programmes, as well as capital works up to £1 million. You’ll play a key role in shaping the estate’s infrastructure, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical maintenance and construction projects.
  • Conduct condition surveys and diagnose electrical issues across the estate.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
  • Monitor budgets and performance metrics, ensuring value for money and environmental sustainability.
  • Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation and statutory testing requirements.

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree or HNC/NVQ Level 4 in a relevant building services or electrical discipline.
  • Full membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., IWFM, RICS, CIAT, CIOB, RIBA).
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in property maintenance or facilities management.
  • Strong project management skills with experience delivering schemes from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to produce and interpret technical drawings.
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification and knowledge of asbestos regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to transport.
