Hays have partnered with a leading financial services organisation to appoint an experienced Programme PMO to support across a markets and data governance programme. Playing a critical role in controlling robust governance, discipline, and transparency across the portfolio, if you're an experienced PMO with a background in financial services and strong exco reporting skills, then we want to hear from you.

Length: 6 months initial (likely extension)
Location: London
Hybrid: Yes (3 days in office)
Rate: £597/day via Umbrella

Your new role and w hat you'll need to succeed

• Drive PMO governance and control, enforcing standards, methodologies, and delivery discipline across a complex, regulated change portfolio.

• Own integrated planning and delivery assurance, maintaining high‑quality plans in Clarity and holding teams accountable for milestones, risks, dependencies, and benefits.

• Lead robust risk, issue, and control management, ensuring accurate tracking, strong assurance, and audit‑ready evidence across all initiatives.

• Produce high‑impact executive reporting, translating complex data and governance insights into clear narratives and ExCo‑level PowerPoint materials.

• Influence senior stakeholders with confidence, ensuring aligned messaging, strong decision support, and consistent governance across Group and Entity forums.

• Experience with MetricStream will be very highly regarded.
