Hays have partnered with a leading telecoms organisation to appoint an experienced project or programme delivery professional for a complex retail transformation. Length: 12-months + extension
Rate: £600 - £650/day via Umbrella
Location: London/Newbury
Hybrid: Yes (2-days in either office)

Your new role and what you'll need to succeed

As the Senior Project/Programme Manager, your key experience/responsibilities will include:

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑workstream retail transformation programmes, turning strategy into clear, actionable plans.

• Drive seamless cross‑functional execution across Retail, Tech, Property, Finance, Legal, HR, and Franchise partners.

• Shape programme communications and executive updates, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective senior stakeholder engagement.

• Own programme governance, risks, issues, financial tracking, and decision‑making frameworks to keep delivery on time and on budget.

• Build strong relationships across diverse teams, influencing at all levels to embed new operating models and improve commercial and operational performance.

• Experience delivering complex transformation initiatives within either a retail or telecoms environment will be essential to be considered for this role.
