Our client is a highly regarded, global professional services organisation is seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join its expanding claims function. Operating at the forefront of insurance and legal services, the business supports insurer and corporate clients with complex and high-value claims, offering a collaborative, high-performance environment with excellent career development opportunities. This is a non-qualified position.

Your new role

• Managing a caseload of Professional Indemnity claims from notification to settlement
• Assessing coverage, liability and quantum in line with policy terms
• Liaising with insurers, brokers, solicitors and insured parties
• Producing clear and accurate reports, including reserve recommendations
• Ensuring claims are handled in line with regulatory frameworks and internal service standards
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation across claims systems
• Supporting negotiations and contributing to dispute resolution strategies

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience handling Professional Indemnity or Financial Lines claims
• Strong understanding of UK insurance claims processes and frameworks
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Experience working with insurers, law firms or within a legal services environment (desirable)
• Professional qualifications (e.g. CII) are not essential
