Requirement for a Production Team Leader in Craigavon

Your new company

You’ll be joining a well-established and forward-thinking food production business based in Craigavon. The company has earned a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Recently, it was recognised for its commitment to sustainability and local sourcing, and has been featured in industry news for its investment in modernising production facilities and supporting community initiatives. These achievements reflect a business that values progress, people, and performance—making it an exciting time to come on board.

Your new role

As Production Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supervising operations within your designated area. You’ll ensure that production targets are met efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality. Your responsibilities will include managing staff performance, coordinating haulage, overseeing ERP system data entry, and supporting planning activities. You’ll also lead training initiatives, conduct performance reviews, and step up in the absence of the department manager. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong organisational and people management skills.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll need proven experience in a supervisory capacity within a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of health and safety, food safety standards, and ERP systems. You should be confident in managing teams, driving performance improvements, and handling disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.

What you'll get in return

You’ll be rewarded with a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a progressive company that values its people. The role offers excellent scope for professional development, with involvement in strategic planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-departmental collaboration. You’ll be part of a supportive team culture that encourages innovation and growth.
