Requirement for a Production Team Leader

Your new company

This leading food production business is known for its dedication to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the company fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence. It offers a supportive workplace where employees are encouraged to grow and contribute meaningfully to the success of the business.

Your new role

As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team on the production line to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality products that meet customer specifications. You’ll oversee machinery setup and operation, carry out changeovers, and support production tasks such as packing and grading. You’ll play a key role in maintaining hygiene and safety standards, monitoring team performance, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role also involves coaching and mentoring team members, promoting a positive working environment, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you’ll need experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with some leadership responsibilities. You should have strong communication and organisational skills, a good understanding of health and safety and food hygiene standards, and the ability to motivate and guide a team. A valid forklift or power pallet truck licence is desirable. You’ll be proactive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

What you'll get in return

In return, you’ll be part of a progressive organisation that values its people and offers a comprehensive benefits package. This includes 33 days' annual leave, access to a Perk Discount Platform, Virtual GP Service, Life Assurance, and an Employee Assistance Programme. You’ll also benefit from discounted and free products, birthday and long-service recognitions, regular employee initiatives such as free health checks, and enhanced overtime rates. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills in a role that offers both challenge and reward.
