Requirement for a Production Supervisor in the Portadown area

Your new company

You will be joining a global leader in the food manufacturing industry, recognised for its long-standing commitment to quality, innovation and continuous improvement. This organisation operates across multiple international markets and offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth within a modern, performance-driven environment. Their Portadown site in particular, is known for its strong culture, collaborative approach and consistent investment in developing future leaders. Being part of a wider global group means you will benefit from the stability, career pathways and expertise associated with a world‑class organisation.

Your new role

As Production Supervisor you will take on full responsibility for leading, coaching and supporting a frontline production team to deliver outstanding performance across safety, food quality, output and labour efficiency. You will ensure that all site policies and procedures are followed, production standards are maintained, and continuous improvement remains at the core of daily activity. The role also requires close collaboration with engineering, quality and other operational teams, along with involvement in key site projects where you will help drive improvements in equipment effectiveness and process reliability. This position follows a structured weekend shift pattern, working Friday 06:00–14:30, Saturday 06:00–18:00, Sunday 06:00–18:00 and Monday 06:00–14:30, with Tuesday to Thursday as rest days.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will bring strong experience within a manufacturing or production environment, ideally in a leadership or supervisory capacity. You will have the ability to inspire and guide a team, communicate clearly, and make confident decisions within a fast‑paced operational setting. A solid understanding of health and safety requirements, quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies will be essential, as will the ability to use performance data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities. Experience working with OEE, GMP standards, or supporting maintenance coordination would be highly beneficial for this role.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will receive a competitive salary alongside a generous benefits package that includes above-average annual leave plus statutory holidays, health insurance, free on‑site parking and discounts in local stores. You will also be joining an organisation that places a strong emphasis on professional development, offering a supportive learning environment and a clear pathway to progress. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long term career within a global organisation that values its people and encourages continuous improvement.
