Requirement for a Production Supervisor
Your new company
You’ll be joining a well-established organisation that takes pride in creating practical, innovative solutions for its customers across the UK and beyond. The team you’ll be part of is known for its supportive culture, collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for doing things the right way. With continued growth and investment in its people and facilities, it’s a place where you can build strong relationships, feel valued and contribute to meaningful, hands‑on work every day.
Your new role
As the Surface Finish Supervisor, you will lead the paint and shot‑blasting teams to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Your role will focus on people leadership, workflow planning and maintaining production deadlines. You will manage daily briefings, coordinate resource allocation, support recruitment and training, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring quality compliance, upholding housekeeping standards and embedding strong health and safety behaviours across the department.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role within a manufacturing, fabrication, coating or blasting environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to motivate teams and confidence in managing performance are essential. You will be well‑organised, able to prioritise effectively and comfortable working to tight production schedules. A solid understanding of health and safety requirements in an industrial setting is important, along with basic IT proficiency. Experience with industrial coatings, blasting standards, lean principles or IOSH certification would be highly beneficial.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary aligned with experience, along with excellent training and ongoing career development. The organisation offers a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive pension scheme, life assurance, a health cash plan, annual health checks, onsite parking, and a generous annual leave entitlement that increases with service. You’ll join a supportive team environment with regular employee wellbeing initiatives and access to modern, high‑quality facilities.
