Requirement for a Production Shift Manager
Your new company
Join a leading food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence. Based in Craigavon, this organisation is part of a wider European group and is committed to delivering high standards across its production processes. With a focus on sustainability, safety, and continuous improvement, it offers a dynamic and supportive environment for professionals looking to make a real impact.
Your new role
As a Production Shift Manager working evening shifts (Monday to Friday, 4pm–12am), you’ll take ownership of your shift’s performance across key areas, including safety, quality, efficiency, and service. You’ll lead and develop a team of supervisors and production staff, ensuring that KPIs are met and that all products meet customer specifications. You’ll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, supporting environmental goals, and providing relief cover for senior operational roles when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll need proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong people management skills and a track record of delivering operational improvements. You should be confident working to technical and quality standards, and possess excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade C or above are essential. Experience in FMCG food manufacturing, HACCP or Health & Safety qualifications, and a degree or leadership qualification would be advantageous.
What you'll get in return
You’ll be joining a forward-thinking business that values its people and invests in their development. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary, a supportive team culture, and the chance to contribute to meaningful change within a key operational area. You’ll also benefit from working in a company that prioritises sustainability and continuous improvement, giving you the platform to grow your career in a thriving industry.
