Are you a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planner looking for your next challenge? Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Wrexham, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis.Your new role
As a Production Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of manufacturing operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll balance demand, capacity, and resources to meet production targets and customer expectations. The position is being offered on 4 on 4 off (days): 6:00am – 6:00pm basis, being primarily office-based with regular time spent on the factory floor.Some of your duties will include but not limited to.
Input all customer orders.
Reconcile requirements against the plan.
Issue kitchen production control information.
Issue the production plan to the factory.
Constantly appraise the position of the factory against the plan in all 3 areas of the plant.
Ensure all files / data is adequately backed up.
Provide information to management as required.
Ensure the kettle schedule is adhered to.
What you'll need to succeed
Must be willing to understand all factory processes.Should be able to communicate with factory staff confidently.
Previous experience in a production planning or scheduling role within a manufacturing environment
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Proficiency in planning software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
A collaborative mindset and a hands-on approach
