Your new role

As Production Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of manufacturing and packaging operations at the site. You will ensure compliance with cGMP, Health & Safety, and environmental standards while driving operational performance and embedding a culture of quality. You will lead investigations, implement corrective and preventive actions, and coordinate audits to maintain regulatory compliance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to ensuring equipment and processes meet the highest standards. You will also focus on cost-effective production, minimising rejects, maximising yields, and developing your team to achieve departmental goals.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will ideally hold a degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline, or have at least five years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging environment. You will have a minimum of three years in a management role within a regulated environment and possess strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, validation, and quality systems. You will demonstrate proven leadership skills, the ability to implement change, and maintain compliance. Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills are essential.
