Production Co-ordinator, permanent position, competitive salary, Co Derry, 12-month contract

Your new company
It is a market leading name within the construction industry. They have appointed Hays to recruit a Production Co-ordinator to join their team. This is an office-based role and working hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 3.30pm on Friday.


Your new role
As production co-ordinator, you will play a key role within the team. Your responsibilities will include ordering of goods – consumables and raw materials. Managing the receipt and checking in of goods and administration of invoices and orders. You will act as a key point of contact between external companies and different departments within the business. Provide administrative support in the processing of wages of weekly pay. As production co-ordinator, you will assist with stock counts of stores, supporting the Accounts and Health & Safety departments in the opening of new accounts for companies / contractors. You will be responsible for minute taking at meetings / distributing actions accordingly and updating reporting software with daily information. You will complete g eneral office duties including filing, updating, scanning, copying, email queries and answering phones.

What you'll need to succeed

As production co-ordinator, you will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent IT skills – proficient in the use of Excel; good attention to detail and record keeping; You will be a team player with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. Essentially, you will be able to effectively prioritise, multitask and understand the importance of deadlines.
