Your new role
As a Product Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of innovative products from concept through to manufacture. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring that products meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and developing new products using 3D CAD software
  • Producing detailed engineering drawings and specifications
  • Supporting product development from concept through prototyping to production
  • Collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams
  • Conducting testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
  • Contributing to design reviews and problem-solving initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience in product design within a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with design for manufacture (DFM) and product lifecycle processes
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • A proactive and innovative approach to design challenges
Desirable:
  • Experience with prototyping and testing
  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
  • Exposure to project management or NPI environments
