Working for a large utilities organisation based in Newport.


Your new role

  • Responsibilities include investigating and resolving system errors, managing access requests, and supporting users with technical queries.
  • Maintaining accurate records, updating training materials, and escalating complex issues to IT when needed.
  • Approving SRM access requests from the business
  • Reviewing and approving low-value shopping cart requests and providing feedback to the business areas should a cart be rejected
  • Take ownership of responding to procurement-related queries and requests, via the department's messaging centre.


What you'll need to succeed

  • This role supports purchasers across the business, so candidates need to communicate clearly, keep colleagues updated on progress, and respond helpfully to queries.
  • The job involves handling multiple requests at once, acting promptly, and following up to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Candidates should have hands-on experience with SAP and SAP SRM purchasing systems, as the role involves managing Ask Procurement ServiceNow tickets (requests for support from users).
  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting and a good understanding of procurement processes are important.
