Your new role

As Procurement Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Procurement function, working closely with the Head of Procurement to deliver effective transactional procurement, reporting, supplier administration, and compliance support.


This role is ideal for a procurement professional looking to consolidate their experience in a structured environment while progressing their career across indirect and direct categories.

Key responsibilities include:

• Raising, processing, and managing purchase orders in line with company policy
• Supporting tender processes, supplier evaluations, and contract administration
• Managing supplier onboarding and maintaining accurate supplier records
• Preparing procurement reports and spend analysis, including savings and supplier performance
• Supporting compliance and audit requirements, including BRC, ESG standards, and internal policies
• Assisting with supplier performance tracking and non‑conformance management
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, systems development, and cross‑functional projects

What you’ll need to succeed


Essential requirements:

• Experience in a procurement, supply chain, or procurement administration role
• Strong administrative and organisational capability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; exposure to ERP or procurement systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive, problem‑solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable:

• Working towards or interest in CIPS qualifications
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, or food and beverage environments
• Knowledge of procurement best practice, tendering, and supplier management
• Experience producing procurement reports, spend analysis, or cost‑saving initiatives
