Your new company

Our client is a not-for-profit organisation near Eastleigh looking for a procurement specialist who is passionate about procurement and keen to join a team who are always looking to do the right thing. This role truly combines operational work with reactive and proactive challenges.

Your new role

Reporting to a specialist procurement manager, you will be taking ownership of projects, maintaining compliance and value for money in all that you do.
You will predominantly be responsible for managing lower-value procurements, from identifying the need, to finding the solutions and supporting the wider procurement process. This will include evaluation, moderation, award, implementation, delivery and performance. You will also support the procurement manager and head of, with larger projects.

What you'll need to succeed


Experience in a procurement role
Knowledge of public sector regulations preferred
Problem-solver
Passion to learn and develop skills
Able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
