Your new role
As a Procurement Officer, you will take the lead on strategic commercial procurement across a wide range of spend categories. You’ll play a key role in shaping procurement practices, driving efficiencies, and ensuring robust systems are in place to support organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all stages of the tender process, from documentation and advertisement preparation to contract award and ongoing supplier management.
Apply best practice procurement principles and stay informed on industry developments.
Maintain central registers and databases for contracts and suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance through data capture and compliance reporting.
Influence and embed effective procurement practices across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree-level education or equivalent experience in procurement/supply chain.
Full or part CIPS qualification (or willingness to work towards).
Experience in procurement within complex organisations, in the Third or Public Sector.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
